Conceptual Design
For clients undertaking a home or commercial build/remodel, the Conceptual Design phases represents an opportunity to bring an interior designer into the process. My role in this stage of a project can take many forms: from high level feedback after blueprint and technical drawing reviews to the design of whole interior spaces and intricate details.
Materials
Specifications
My specification services can include everything from electrical and plumbing plan reviews, construction material selections to selection schedules. What does this mean? I will review your lighting and plumbing schematics to make certain they are going to have the functionality and aesthetic you are after. I will help you select all the materials that are going into your build or remodel. For those of you simply wanting a second opinion on selections already made, I can do that too. Finally, I will put together a complete grid of your selections and provide that to you and/or your builder.
Furnishings
Let the fun begin! At Tranquility Interiors, I am passionate about designing beautiful spaces that connect life with style. I am comfortable working in a variety of styles and aesthetics to create interiors that allows you to be yourself, freely and comfortably. I can incorporate the existing furniture you love or start with a blank canvas, while presenting high quality and custom pieces within your budget. My furnishing services include floor planning, color palettes, and selections for carpet, lighting, furniture, window treatments, accessories and art.
Staging
I provide home staging services in preparation of private residences for sale in the real estate marketplace. The goal of staging is to make a home appealing to the highest number of potential buyers, thereby selling a property more swiftly and competitively. Did you know staged homes sell on average 83% faster than without.
Virtual
Services
I collaborate with homeowners and professionals from coast to coast. If you have a residential project and don't live nearby, don't worry. My process for clients outside of the Washington DC metro area was created by combining my belief in strong communication and skilled interior design. Through phone calls, video conferences, e-mails, document sharing, and site visits, I am able to provide my out-of-state clients with the same level of service that a local client receives-through every stage of the design process.
